 Belvoir Bed is committed to supporting equestrianism, including event rider Sharon Hunt and competitions such as Blenheim and The Royal Festival of the Horse. Now they have ventured in to the world of dressage with their recently announced partnership with international dressage couple, Rebecca and Gareth Hughes.
After purchasing Belvoir Bed, Rebecca reported excellent feedback having put the product through its paces and both she and Gareth are now officially endorsing the chopped straw bedding.
Rebecca Hughes, who is the resident trainer at Classic Dressage, runs the yard in Buckinghamshire and specialises in training young horses. Having represented Great Britain several times, recent successes include placings at Hartpury, Hickstead and Hansbeke at the Belgium Internationals on Felicity Scott's Shining Light. Rebecca was won over the bedding when she first began using it. “Belvoir Bed is a first choice for equestrian bedding; it’s easy to use, economical and provides a comfortable, biodegradable method of bedding your horse.”
Gareth Hughes, runs Aspen Grove Dressage in Oxon alongside business partner Ann Newton and is currently campaigning a string of horses across the levels both on the national and international circuit. He has now been converted to Belvoir Bed after a slightly sceptical start. “I have always been a shavings and straw person and never tried anything different. However Belvoir Bed stays deeper, is easier to clean and produces a lot less waste. It takes less bedding to produce a deep bed. It works really well for us, it’s very comfortable for the Horses and gives a secure bed for them! We are very happy with it.”
